You see the smile before anyone touches a tooth
Dr. Goh is a certified Digital Smile Design provider, one of a small number in the valley. We design your new smile against your own face, then try it in the chair, so you see it and decide before we bond anything.
Built on training, not guesswork.
Every design goes through the DSD Planning Center, where at least four more dentists review it before you see it. He backs every design with his DSD certification and twenty-seven years in practice, so more than one person checks the plan before you approve it.
How a design gets made
Records
A digital scan of your teeth, five photographs, and one short video of you talking and smiling. The video matters because a still photo cannot show how your smile actually moves.
The design
We draw your new smile against your own face, not an average one, and you can adjust and rework every tooth before anything is final.
Smile Test Drive
We fit a temporary version of the design over your own teeth. You look at it in the mirror, in daylight, and tell us what to change. It comes off before you leave, and you keep the design and the photographs.
Approve, then plan treatment
We bond or build nothing until you say yes to the design. Once you approve it, Dr. Goh talks you through which treatment gets you there and how many visits it takes.
Check the result
After treatment, we scan your mouth again and compare it to the plan you approved. That checks the fit between the design and the result instead of assuming it.
The design starts with your face, not an average one.
Most smile plans start from a chart of average proportions. Yours starts from five photographs and one short video of you talking and smiling. We measure your own width, tilt, and how much tooth shows when you laugh, instead of guessing.
That is what facially driven means here. We build the plan to work when you actually smile, not just when you hold still for a photo.
What Digital Smile Design does not promise
Digital Smile Design is a planning step, not a treatment by itself. It works before composite veneers, before Invisalign, before whitening or gum work, whenever you want to see a change before you agree to it.
It does not choose your treatment for you, but it shows you where you could end up, so the choice is easier to make.
Good fit
- You want to see the plan before committing to anything
- You are weighing a whole-smile change, not just one tooth
- You want more than one set of eyes on your case before it starts
Still your call
- The design shows the plan. Choosing the material or technique still happens at your visit
- What Dr. Goh sees in person can shift the design slightly
Worth saying plainly
- We mock up a lot of cases in the chair. Not every one — some work sits in a single section of the mouth, and some people already know what they want
- The mockup does not go home with you. What you keep is the design and the photographs
Individual results vary. The design is a plan Dr. Goh and you agree to, not a guarantee of the exact outcome once treatment begins.
