If you can't reach us

Leave a message and we'll call you back to get you scheduled. For severe swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing, or facial trauma, don't wait on a call back — go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

What counts as an emergency

Not sure if it's urgent? Call — we'll tell you.

These are the situations that usually mean call today, not wait it out. When in doubt, call anyway — a quick phone conversation is the fastest way to know what to do next.

01 · Pain

Severe toothache

Sharp, throbbing pain that doesn't ease with an over-the-counter pain reliever — especially if it's keeping you up at night or spreading toward your jaw or ear. Call us; we'll help you figure out what's going on before you decide anything.

02 · Damage

Broken or chipped tooth

A crack, chip, or break — from a fall, a hard bite, or an old filling giving way. Save any piece you can find and call us; how quickly you're seen often affects how the tooth can be repaired.

Save the piece
03 · Restoration

Lost crown or filling

A crown or filling that's come loose or fallen out leaves sensitive tooth structure exposed underneath. It's rarely an emergency on its own, but call soon so we can protect what's exposed.

04 · Infection

Swelling or abscess

Facial swelling, a bump on the gum, or a bad taste that won't go away can point to an infection. Infections can move quickly, so call us the same day you notice it.

60-second guide

Knocked out a tooth? Here's what to do.

  1. 1Pick it up by the crown — the chewing surface — never by the root.
  2. 2Rinse it gently with water if it's dirty. No soap, no scrubbing.
  3. 3Try to set it back in the socket. If that's not possible, keep it in a cup of milk.
  4. 4Call us immediately — we'll walk you through the rest on the phone.

What happens when you come in

Exam first. Pain relief first. Then a plan.

No treatment lecture while you're hurting. We move in order — see what's going on, get you comfortable, and only then talk about what comes next.

01 · Look

Exam & imaging

A focused exam and the X-ray or imaging that shows what's actually going on — nothing more than what's needed to see the problem clearly.

Diagnostic exam
02 · Calm

Relieve the pain first

Before any conversation about long-term treatment, we get you comfortable. That comes first, always.

Comfort first
03 · Plan

Stabilize, then decide

Once you're stable and the pain is under control, Dr. Goh walks you through what he found and what your options are — in plain language, before anything else happens.

Plain language
Before your visit

A few things that help — while you wait.

None of this replaces a call — it just makes the wait more comfortable.

01 · Comfort

Cold compress

Ice or a cold pack wrapped in a cloth, held against the outside of your cheek, can ease swelling and take the edge off until we see you.

Outside the cheek
02 · Relief

Over-the-counter pain relief

An over-the-counter pain reliever, taken as directed on the label, can help you get comfortable. Not sure what's right for you? Ask your pharmacist.

As directed on label
03 · Avoid

Skip the heat

Heat feels soothing, but on a swollen area it can feed the swelling rather than calm it. Stick with cold, not warm, until we've had a look.

Cold, not warm
04 · Save

Save any pieces

A broken tooth, a lost crown, a filling that came loose — if you have the piece, bring it with you. It often makes the difference in how we can restore it.

Bring it with you

We file claims
to every PPO plan.

Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, and MetLife are among the plans we're in-network with, and we file a claim for every PPO plan whether we're in-network or not. Call to verify your specific plan before your visit, so cost is never a surprise on top of everything else.

The honest answers.

No — dental emergencies are welcome whether or not you've been here before. Call us, tell us what's going on, and we'll get you to the right next step either way.
Call first and tell us what's going on. Emergencies get priority, and we'll tell you honestly when we can get you in — no guessing, no waiting-room roulette.
It depends entirely on what's actually needed, so we don't quote a number over the phone. The exam comes first — then everything is explained and written down before any treatment starts. We submit claims to all PPO plans; call to verify yours.
Call anyway. Telling us what you're feeling takes two minutes, and we'll give you an honest answer about whether it needs to be seen or can safely wait. One exception: for severe swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing, or facial trauma, skip the call — go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
Not as a default. Dr. Goh's goal is to save the tooth whenever that's a realistic option, and he'll walk you through what's possible before deciding anything. Extraction is discussed as one option among others — never the automatic answer.
